Our Mission
Validus Elite Training Center was founded with the mission to encourage individuals of all ages and levels to build overall strength for lifetime health benefits.
Our coaches encourage and educate our members on injury prevention, gym safety, optimal sports performance, recovery, mobility, consistency, and proficiency.
Whether you want to start with general strength training or improve powerlifting or weightlifting technique, our coaches listen to your goals to design and implement a custom, progressive, and safe training program that fits your schedule.
Validus isn’t just a gym, we’re a supportive family of motivated individuals who all want to be stronger and healthier.

Nez has a B.A. in Kinesiology and has been a Personal Trainer, Pro Dance Choreographer, and Nutrition Coach for over 25 years with numerous certifications, including USAPL Coach, USPA Coach, and Precision Nutrition Master L2. She’s a 6x USAPL Meet Director, National Level Coach and Competitor, and 4x NPC International Fitness & Figure Bodybuilder.
Fun fact: Nez is a 2x NFL Super Bowl Pre-Game and Half-time Show performer.
Chris
Chris has an M.S. in Exercise Science, B.S. in Biological Science, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He is a Senior International Coach for USA Powerlifting and was the assistant coach for USA Powerlifting’s National Team Raw Master’s (2016-2018).

Colin
Colin has a B.A. in Kinesiology, is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS), and a Barbell Rehab Method Certified Professional. He coaches small group fitness classes, does personal training, and trains all types of athletes, primarily powerlifters.
Fun fact: He played in the same basketball league as Keenan Allen, NFL Wide Receiver.
Quinn
Quinn became Validus Security in 2020 and immediately new her role; befriend, kiss and love the members she knows well and bark to say ‘hi’ to new people that come through the front door. If she brings you her toy, say “drop it” and she’ll let you throw it. Don’t attempt to play tug-of-war with her because she’s tough!
Fun fact: She loves training drills, broccoli, and belly rubs!
